Fake news has never been part of our offer. We’d rather avoid using Photoshop, so we have to ensure this pocket of paradise stays as it is for as long as possible!

You’ve surely noticed the big changes across all of Christof over the last few years: we’ve used wood in the most recent renovations, and natural resources for the façade; the curtains which cover most of our ground floor are made using recycled plastic collected from the sea (we pride ourselves on cleaning our home – be it the one we live in or the world); and our party central uses renewable hydropower. Our Live Acts raise the temperature among the crowd every Friday – on the other days, we use wood chips, sourced from local forestry, and 80% of our heating needs are covered by a special aeriation system. We’ve always used LED and opted for waste separation (over 90!), so that seems a bit superfluous to mention, but better safe than sorry.

Your beauty routine with us gets off on the right foot first thing in the morning. Our bathroom will sort you out with our organic beauty products.

Off you go to the breakfast buffet, where you can enjoy delicious meals using plastic-free or recyclable options – and opt for package-free delights, too. Why does everything taste SO good? Excellent question! We source everything from the nearby forest, our neighbours – who just happen to be farmers – or from suppliers in the vicinity. The shorter travel times reduce our emissions and have a direct impact on the quality of our food. Our Tuesday dinners are meat-free.

We aim to protect our cleaning staff, guests, and the environment, which is why we use chemical-free, organic cleaning products. Oh! And coffee pods are all recycled.

Give your car a holiday.

Still not convinced? How about this: give your car (and wallet) a rest and speak with us at reception to receive your free public transport pass. Or why not use our e-bikes, or make use of our e-charging station for your e-vehicle? We’ve got all the necessary tools to be more sustainable – but, more than anything else, we like being sustainable, which is why we do it.
